This series is definitely at the top of my list for favorites. Even with all the build up and waiting, Magic Bleeds did not disappoint. This book seems to begin the massive build up to the final showdown with Roland so a lot happened. We get to meet a blood relative of Kate's for the first time and it was spectacular! What I loved the most about that interaction is that you really get to see how much Kate has changed and grown since the first book. She has a little family of loved ones now and she really embraces that in this book instead of fighting being close to others. Magic Bleeds had some really great scenes throughout, but most especially with Kate and Curran. Their interactions are hilarious and heartbreaking and heartwarming! It was extremely satisfying to watch them work with each other to build their relationship {FINALLY!}.
